I'm Programancer- a game developer from Michigan! I have releases on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, Steam, EGS, GOG, and Itch.io!I make pixel games that harken back to the late 80s, early 90s. I don't strive for innovation- rather I strive to bring things back to their roots. Something that's not as common now.I post many work-in-progress videos (of various degrees of completion) on Twitter, so if that's something that tickles your fancy feel free to check it out!I'm headstrong and unapologetic toward my design process in the sense that I value the feedback I get from watching someone play over verbal feedback I get from people telling me what they played, especially in the case of works-in-progress. The most important part of the process is observing how people navigate what you made for the first time, whereas verbal feedback leads to people just using you as a springboard for their own biases and ideas based on a small unfinished part of a game. This can seem abrasive to some, but it's the best way to make what I have in my head without diluting it! Hopefully that pays off and people get what I'm doing when what I'm making is done.
